Technical Information
When a 3D request is received from the ArcIMS viewer, the Terrain Server engine generates a 3D model of the area of interest using terrain data stored in the database. The ArcIMS-generated map image is draped over the 3D-surface, and the results are displayed in an interactive client viewer. Next |
