Geocortex Essentials works in conjunction with the core ESRI technology to provide tools and features that dramatically reduce the time and effort it takes to create quality ArcGIS Server applications.

The vision for Geocortex Essentials is to simplify building real-world applications for ArcGIS Server (not just Web ADF). Since day one we’ve engineered the product in a very generic way so we could eventually leverage new and emerging developer platforms like ESRI’s JavaScript, Silverlight and Flex APIs. Geocortex Essentials 2.2 provides the capabilities people need whether they‘re using Web ADF or any of the new APIs. Though they were originally released for Web ADF, we’re exposing capabilities through the Geocortex Essentials REST API for use with all the APIs; such as data linking, custom reporting/printing engine, quick search/query, and fine-grained security.

Geocortex Essentials’ core elements are at the heart of the product. They provide the in-depth programmatic components (though many aspects can be configured through our easy-to-use Geocortex Essentials Manager) required to truly integrate ArcGIS Server with other enterprise systems and deliver the rich applications real-world organizations often require. Installation

The installation process for Geocortex Essentials is simple and quick. Our installer streamlines the process, and with a few system parameters you’ll have your chosen ArcGIS Server service functioning with the Geocortex Essentials default site (all the basic tools). End to end, it takes about 10-15 minutes.
