2012 Geocortex User Conference

This, our 7th annual user conference, is a great way to gain the knowledge you need so that you can make the most of your investment in ArcGIS Server.
Getting Real Work Done
Take in introductory or in-depth sessions geared around helping real people get real work done. Recognizing that many of our customers value a deep dive into the inner-workings of Geocortex, we are introducing four new Deep Dive sessions this year. In these optional 90-minute sessions, our developers will share their first-hand knowledge in how to develop effective, custom-tailored applications.
Sharing Best Practices
During perennially popular User Stories sessions, other users will share their real-world implementation experiences. Learn how other organizations have implemented Geocortex, and discover new approaches to extract greater value from your data and technology.
Responding to a Changing World
Especially with Esri's release of ArcGIS 10.1, web mapping and GIS technology are changing like never before. From the cloud to mobile to evolving user expectations, we have the choice of letting change and technology represent a source of difficulty and complexity or have it represent a source of enrichment and advantage. Why Virtual?
With many organizations facing severe travel restrictions, in 2010 we experimented with a user conference delivered entirely online (some sessions are live, others are pre-recorded in the days ahead with the presenter simultaneously handling live, interactive questions). Though there are clearly trade-offs compared to a face-to-face event, the format has proved remarkably effective. With a live plenary, dynamic discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions, we're still able to deliver a meaningful conference experience—without any travel or accommodation expenses.
Sessions Are Recorded
All live sessions are presented based on a Pacific Daylight Time schedule (GMT -7) and are recorded. The video recordings will be made available within a few hours after the end of a session. As well, the conference video archive will be available exclusively to registered attendees for several months afterward for your viewing convenience and future reference.
