This two day course provides the building blocks to configure solutions in Geocortex Essentials.

Audience

Those who are new to Geocortex Essentials and the Geocortex Viewers.

Prerequisites

Introduction to Geocortex (or equivalent)
An understanding of ArcGIS Server administration
An understanding of web-based systems and technology is an asset
Test your system to ensure that Adobe Connect and the virtual machine that you will be using during training can run successfully

14 hours (with breaks)

The lectures and exercises in this course will provide a hands-on opportunity to learn about:

System architecture and installation
Including spatial and non-spatial data from a variety of sources
Data presentation and reporting
Future proofing your configuration by using both Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight and HTML5
Branding the Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight for your organization
Editing spatial data
Configuring site security
