Internet Cartography
Cartography has a profound effect on the effectiveness of a web-based mapping application. Achieved through often subtle design decisions, effective Internet cartography gets noticed.
Moreover, the Internet has forever altered the rules of cartography. Internet cartographers do not create traditional maps. They design rules for building efficient, conflict-free maps at any scale, at any geographic extent, in a way that will effectively visualize layers that could be displayed in myraid combinations. Custom Development & Programming
Applying geography to make the world a better place may be our purpose, but the way we do that ultimately makes us an information technology company. Our staff is comprised largely of computer scientists and software engineers and they build our software products and customize/implement various software products on behalf of our clients.
Our hourly rates may not be the lowest, but even price-sensitive clients recognize that our programmers are worth the cost. When comparing RFP bid submissions, our project development costs generally come in well below other firms offering custom ArcGIS Server-related programming (even setting aside the cost advantages associated with our product-centric approach).

Complete Internet Map Site Hosting
Latitude Geographics is a licensed Application Service Provider (ASP) for ESRI's ArcGIS Server and ArcIMS. This allows us to host ArcGIS Server/ArcIMS (Standard Edition) using ArcSDE on our servers for clients. Hosting clients are not required to license any software or purchase any hardware. All aspects of deployment are completely managed and included.
With no long-term commitment, our hosting can be an ideal way for some organizations to get started with ArcGIS Server/ArcIMS.

Managed Co-location Hosting
With Managed Server Co-location, a client's ArcGIS Server/ArcIMS architecture (software and hardware) is deployed from the Latitude Geographics Data Center and is managed by our team of expert administrators. Outsourcing ArcGIS Server/ArcIMS deployment to Latitude Geographics is an extremely cost-effective way to deploy your web-based GIS, while ensuring maximum security, performance and uptime. There is no long term contract and we have a proven migration strategy should you wish to redeploy in-house or elsewhere at any time. Training
We’ve trained clients all over North America. Often, our customers require that their staff have all of the skills needed to maintain a high quality, near-zero downtime ArcGIS Server/ArcIMS installation, which means we need to be able to provide the training to make them successful. Our training materials contain structured, refined course content that gets people rolling and productive quickly. We also have the option to tailor the materials to a client’s background and their organizational needs - after all, one size rarely fits all!
On-site Training
Have one of our experienced trainers conduct two to five days of on-site training and implementation support. They can run group training sessions or sit next to you and teach you how to understand and configure your site.
Regional Training
Join one of our Regional Trainings held all over the USA, Canada and occasionally in Europe.
Web-Based Training
For customers who want more flexibility to their training, we offer Web-based training. These sessions are typically bought in blocks of 8 or 24 hours and then used in a series of 2-hour one-on-one meetings with an experienced trainer. We like to think of this style of training as “time with a pro” where we can support our customers in actually walking through their own site set up and configuration.

Advanced Troubleshooting & Deployment and Migration Support
Web-based GIS is what we live and breathe. We’re experts with the entire ArcGIS Server and ArcIMS technology stack and are available to provide immediate, expert assistance on a fee-for-service basis.
We provide a number of support services to assist independent organizations running successful in-house web-GIS applications. Advanced support includes a variety of services from complex deployment troubleshooting to emergency situation mirroring and monitoring.
