Like everyone around the world, the Geocortex team is closely watching the developments surrounding the COVID-19/Coronavirus outbreak. The health and safety of our customers, partners, staff — and their families — is extremely important to us and so we’ve made the decision to postpone all Geocortex events until we know that they can be hosted at a time when safety can be assured. This decision also aligns with the new travel limitations of many of our customers and partners, and the cancellation of other large gatherings in North America, Europe, and around the world.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to hosting Geocortex events, including our Geocortex User Conferences, at a future date when possible. Please note that at this time, we are postponing Geocortex-hosted events only. Our teams are still planning on attending GIS events hosted by other organizations up until those events are impacted or we determine that the risk to staff is too high. Please follow our social media channels and review our events pages to receive the latest updates on where you can find Geocortex during this time.
We will continue to monitor this situation and put measures in place that consider the health of our employees and customers — and ensure we are acting in good faith as global citizens — with the hope that conditions will improve in the months ahead.
