In September 2017, Latitude Geographics was acquired by Battery Ventures and joined a growing collection of companies committed to providing the best-in-class GIS products, solutions, software and services. We are excited to announce that this group now has an official name: moving forward, Geocortex will be offered by VertiGIS!
Our team joins AED-SICAD and Geocom with a shared goal of empowering organizations of all sizes – across industries and around the world – to harness the power of location intelligence.
So what does this mean for current Geocortex customers? The main change you will start to see is that “Geocortex by VertiGIS” will gradually replace “Geocortex by Latitude Geographics” on our website, at events, and in our communications. Everything else will remain the same and it will be business as usual over here at Geocortex HQ!
Over time, we will explore new opportunities within the VertiGIS family to serve you better through our combined experience and technology, as well as the strengths of any new companies that may join us in the future.
As mentioned above, our business will not be changing, and that includes the products you’ve licensed and any agreements that you already have in place with us. Our team will continue to work with you to accomplish even more with Esri technology, and to help you extend the web mapping applications you build.
